SAP development for over a decade
I extend the SAP standard, build custom solutions and interfaces, and support S/4HANA conversions. Across industries, with module development in FI, SD, MM and RE-FX.
Reports, function modules, classes, ALV and dynamic Dynpros. I build my custom developments to stay maintainable and extensible through redefinition, rather than ending up as throwaway code.
Enhancements via BAdIs, user and customer exits, plus batch input, job scheduling and authorization concepts. The standard stays standard, and the adaptation stays upgrade-safe.
Freestyle SAPUI5 interfaces with XML views, JavaScript controllers and two-way binding, connected to OData services based on the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (unmanaged). Plus CDS Views and AMDP.
SAPscript, Smart Forms and Adobe Forms including print and message control (NACE), print programs and form translations. Built new or fitted into existing output processes.
OData services in SEGW including deep insert for nested data structures. With end-to-end logging so every call stays traceable.
Inbound and outbound services in the SAP system: providing, consuming and securing them via tokens and SSL certificates. Processing Base64-encoded attachments is part of it too.
IDoc extensions with partner agreements, RFC modules and BAPI processing. Including monitoring of the processing and reprocessing of failed messages.
Proxy classes for connecting to an SAP PI/PO as middleware, with a mapping concept and transformation of the data into the target structures.
Checking the customer's own code for S/4HANA readiness with the ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC), as the basis for a reliable effort estimate.
Adapting the custom developments, quick fixes in the ADT and SPDD/SPAU comparison as part of conversions and system updates.
Migrating the business partner data including customer-specific appends and displaying them through the customizing of the Business Partner transaction.
Ticket handling for all ABAP topics, from analysis through troubleshooting to implementation. I resolve even complex errors independently, without pulling anyone else in.
Debugging and fixing errors in interfaces, forms and custom developments, without slowing down ongoing operations.
Implementing change requests and new requirements in existing custom developments, documented and tested.

Medical technology: Bidirectional factoring interface
A bidirectional interface in ABAP OO for transmitting financial data to debt purchasers, built as a reusable product that adapts to further customers through redefinition. With an authorization concept, logging and automation via job scheduling.
Consumer goods: S/4HANA conversion & custom code migration
Readiness check of the customer's own code with the ABAP Test Cockpit, custom code migration including quick fixes, and migration of the business partner data with customer-specific appends. Plus user training on the converted functions.
Mechanical engineering: OData connection of a CMS (deep insert)
OData services in the SAP Gateway with deep insert for nested data structures to connect a content management system. Processing via BAPIs, plus logging of the entire data traffic for complete traceability.
Promotional products retail: Webshop connection with 11 interfaces
Design and implementation of eleven bidirectional interfaces between webshop and SAP for order management, master data and logging. Including support for the webshop developers, training for everyone involved, and error analysis during the test and rollout phase.
Energy supply: SAPUI5 & RAP applications
Several freestyle SAPUI5 applications with XML views and JavaScript controllers, connected to their own OData services based on the RESTful Application Programming Model. From the behaviour definition for create, read and delete to order processing with two-way binding.
